I was born in Montpelier, Vermont, and spent most of my childhood exploring the wild. My family later moved to Ohio where I met and eventually married my high school sweetheart. After spending seven years in South Florida, I moved to Annapolis, Maryland where I currently reside with my wife Shannon and our eight children.
I’ve always loved to write. Short stories. Poetry. Even blog posts! My first published book You Are the Catholic Brand was released in 2016 by Liguori Publications. Up next is What Angels See, a children’s book soon to be published by Pauline Books.
"My two favorite opening lines for a novel. “All this happened, more or less.” – Kurt Vonnegut “The beet is the most intense of vegetables. The radish, admittedly, is more feverish, but the fire of the radish is a cold fire, the fire of discontent not of passion. Tomatoes are lusty enough, yet there runs through tomatoes an undercurrent of frivolity. Beets are deadly serious.” - Tom Robbins"
Rome is my absolute favorite place in the world – I can still remember the sound of walking on stone and marble, finding a new piazza around every corner, and sculptures hewn into every fountain. In 2014, I had the privilege of meeting Pope Francis!
When I was growing up, I wanted to be a Veterinarian. I grew up on a farm with all different kinds of animals ranging from goats to raccoons!
My spirit animal is ROI.
