Cultivating Connection in a Remote World: How Our 5 Core Values Enhance Company Culture

Juli Loomis

Keeping a social, healthy, and connected culture in a remote environment can be difficult, but we’ve been lucky to think of ways to work around these challenges and harness a positive environment with thriving work relationships.

How is this possible?

One of the many ways we encourage a healthy culture is by implementing five key Core Values for Intrinsic Digital that we use as a guiding force in our internal interactions and our business with our clients: Accountability, Authenticity, Caring, Surprise & Delight, and X-ray Vision.

Each month we have our team members anonymously nominate their colleagues who represented these Core Values and award a small token to winners. This month, instead of a Core Value, we sought to find the employee who best embodied our Mission Statement, "We Love the Journey."

We set the expectation for We Love the Journey to mean: "We understand that digital marketing has no finish line – it is always changing. And we love the journey! We are passionate about delivering great work and results for our clients, and enjoying the digital marketing adventure!"

Our winner for “We Love the Journey" was Andrew Platt! Andrew (AKA Platt or Platt Platt), one of our Campaign Success Coordinators, is an incredible asset to our campaigns team at Intrinsic Digital! His meticulous attention to detail brings a level of precision to our campaigns that is truly commendable. Andrew's intelligence shines through in his strategic approach, consistently delivering impactful and well-thought-out solutions. Beyond his professional capabilities, his dedication to the journey at Intrinsic Digital is evident.

See what our team members had to say about Andrew in their nomination submissions:

"Platt is always looking for new ways to optimize our current processes and jumps in to do so himself when the opportunity arises. He's been an asset to the team since the first day he started! Way to love the journey Platt Platt!"

"Andrew is always so positive and upbeat. He loves the journey and it shows. He is a delight to work with and I would always pick him to be on my team!"
