For our second episode, we’re heading to Midland, Michigan, where Jasmin West from our Client Success team invites us into her world: one filled with spreadsheets, musical soundtracks, and a very opinionated feline coworker.
Meet Jasmin West
Based in Midland, Michigan, Jasmin is part of the Client Success team. As she approaches her one-year anniversary at Intrinsic, Jasmin reflects the kind of grounded positivity that makes remote work feel not just doable, but genuinely fulfilling.
A Morning Soundtrack (and a Cup of Tea)
Jasmin’s mornings begin with a comforting ritual.
“I always start my morning with a cup of tea or coffee,” she shares. Her go-to favorites? English Breakfast tea with honey and milk, or a cozy cup of matcha.

As soon as she logs in, the music comes on, usually a musical soundtrack. “Probably The Greatest Showman soundtrack,” she admits. “It’s my favorite movie of all time!”
And that routine sets the tone for her day. One thing she always looks forward to? Seeing if the “little email fairies” have delivered any client responses and catching up on messages from her fellow onboarding teammates.
Staying Organized, Spreadsheet-Style
When it comes to staying on top of her work, Jasmin knows exactly what keeps her sane.
“I’m definitely a spreadsheet girly!” she says. Her client spreadsheet is her lifeline — keeping everything clear, organized, and manageable.
It’s a system that not only keeps tasks in check, but also gives her peace of mind; proof that sometimes the simplest tools are the most powerful.

The Best Part of Remote Life
For Jasmin, remote work comes with a very special perk: her favorite coworker.
“I get to work with my favorite coworker, Princess, my cat!” she shares. Princess often sits on the chair behind her — and gets very offended if asked to move.
As a proud introvert, having her own space has made a huge difference. Remote work allows her to feel comfortable, focused, and truly productive, all while sharing her workspace with a furry (and slightly demanding) companion.
Looking Ahead: Building Something Bigger
Jasmin is especially excited about taking on the CS Atlas, a project aimed at creating a central hub of information for both the Client Success and onboarding teams.
She’s looking forward to contributing to something that will have a lasting impact, helping teammates find answers faster, collaborate more easily, and feel supported in their work.
Inside the Workspace: A Full-Circle Moment
Jasmin’s workspace carries special meaning. Her home office is set up in her childhood bedroom — in the same house she recently bought.
“It’s such a full-circle moment,” she shares.
And of course, Princess is always close by, either perched on the desk or sharing her chair, making the space feel both nostalgic and perfectly lived-in.
What Remote Work at Intrinsic Feels Like
When asked to sum up remote work at Intrinsic, Jasmin’s answer is heartfelt and honest:
“Truly a blessing.”
She reflects on how different this experience has been compared to past roles, ones that brought anxiety and exhaustion. At Intrinsic, she feels the opposite.
“I feel such positive energy here, and I genuinely enjoy every day I get to come to work. When I log off, I don’t feel drained — I feel fulfilled.”
It’s a reminder that the right environment doesn’t just support work, it should support your overall well-being, in and outside the screen.
