Company culture is important. At Intrinsic Digital, we created a culture committee to keep us focused on what matters most. Each quarter, a new group of four employees joins the committee, where the main objective is to make sure that we, as a company, are living up to our core values – the things that make us special and differentiate us.

In 2021, the committee wanted to do something to give back to the community for the holidays. They came up with the idea to create a fundraiser for a charity that we hold near and dear to our hearts, Sarah’s House.
Sarah’s House offers shelter, daily meals, and other services to families experiencing homelessness in Anne Arundel County, MD. It is much more than just a safe place to sleep, their goal is to effect positive changes for the families they serve.
Sarah’s House had created an Amazon Wish List for the children they were helping during the holidays, and the committee knew this would be the perfect opportunity to give back. Intrinsic Digital set up a “gofundme” page with a goal of $2,000 and a promise to match every dollar raised, up to that $2,000.
With the help of clients, employees, their families and friends, and everyone else who donated – we were able to raise $1,000 in donations! In the spirit of Christmas, Intrinsic Digital more than matched the donation and contributed $2,000, bringing the grand total of money raised to $3,000!
All in all, with the donations and contribution from Intrinsic Digital, we were able to purchase $3,000 in items from the Sarah's House Amazon wish lists including:
- 32 adult personal care items
- 19 kitchen items
- 14 household items
- 77 toys/presents for children and teens
- 25 food items
